Sharad is a master in Industrial Design from National Institute of Design and Bachelor in Engineering from REC having seven years of experience in managing and working with multi-cultural usability, visual design, product design, manufacturing and software development teams.

He has spearheaded visual and usability design for the development of internationally acclaimed software products and also led the initiative in designing and developing usability standards for swing and web-based applications in the organizations. The products have acclaimed several awards and recognition in their respective categories and also have gained "easy to use" and "visually great" feedback from users.

He had conducted visual interface design workshops for software and web design professionals in association the National Institute of Design.

He is an strong advocate of user-centered design and have created and established the concept of ergonomics in Indian furniture industry. Most of it is now a part of ISO.

He has designed products for users with the special needs like terminally ill patients as well as people with the living and occupational hazards.
